We can help you transform!

One of the key objectives of the Caribbean Centre for Development Administration (CARICAD) is to develop the human resource capacity of its constituent public services and thereby improve performance in every aspect of service delivery.

CARICAD recognises that a programme of Technical Assistance Attachment (hereafter referred to as Secondment) offers valuable opportunities for individual development that and may also be used for enhancing the effectiveness of the Centre. It also offers the opportunity to improve and enhance skills and experience.

Secondment is ‘the temporary assignment of a public officer to an external organisation to a temporary position for a specific purpose and for a period of time for the mutual benefit of both parties’

Secondment provides an avenue for CARICAD to meet a short term specialised human resource requirement where those needs cannot be effectively met internally, in addition it can serve to address the career development of public officers from Member States thereby enhancing the human resource capacity within the Regional Public Sector.
