Strategic Plan: Vocational Training Board (Barbados)
CARICAD played a significant role in the development of a strategic plan for the Barbados Vocational Training Board (BVTB). The Board which was established in 1979, is a statutory corporation under the aegis of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Human Resources Development. The Board offers four (4) modalities of training: Apprenticeship, Skills Training, Evening and In Plant Programmes in a wide range of technical and vocational skills from six locations across Barbados. The BVTB’s 2014 – 2017 Strategic Plan is being implemented in line with the goals and objectives laid out in the Plan.
