CARICAD undertook a Rapid Assessment for the Ministry of Public Service, Information and Broadcasting in April 2016. This Assessment related to the systematic analysis of work that would result in improved resource utilization in the St. Lucia Public Service with a focus on evidence-based deployment of human resources. This initiative emanated from work previously undertaken in the development of the Ministry’s Strategic and Multi-Action Plan in 2014/2015. CARICAD’s consultant interacted with officials of the Ministry to discuss system resources as well as human resources management capacity, processes and tools that support workforce planning, and workload analysis and optimisation.
