Caribbean Public Health Agency – Situational Assessment
CARICAD was contracted by the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) to undertake a Situational Assessment of Public Health Authorities in subset of CARPHA’s Member States. The objective of this assignment was to determine common challenges facing the region both existing and emergent, as well as institutional strengths that could be relied on (or enhanced) in managing the regional public health agenda. CARICAD conducted a series of consultations in Barbados, Jamaica, St. Lucia and the British Virgin Islands to elicit the information that CARPHA required to inform its strategic planning.
